The Schedule Automation feature allows you to plan and launch marketing workflows at the exact date and time you choose. Instead of manually triggering campaigns, you can set them up in advance to run automatically ensuring your messages are delivered when they’ll have the greatest impact.
With Schedule Automation, you can confidently put your marketing on autopilot while keeping it personal, timely, and effective.
Steps to Create Schedule Automation:
In the top navigation bar, click on Marketing.
Select Automations from the top left corner of the Marketing page. On the Automation page, go to the Schedule Automation tab.
To create a new automation, click the “New Automation” button in the upper-right corner.
Once you click ,a modal pop-up will appear. Enter a automation name and click the "+" icon to create a new folder or select a folder and click the "save" button.
Click the Add Trigger button. A modal popup will appear and select the automation trigger condition.
Select the date and time to schedule your automation trigger.
Note: System will not allow the date and time trigger in past.
Schedule based automations for all contacts
To schedule the automation for all contacts, enable the Schedule for All Contacts checkbox.
Note: Once the checkbox is enabled, the individual trigger condition fields will be automatically hidden.
Trigger-based automation for all contacts
To add Contact based or Transaction based or Smart List-based trigger conditions, click on the trigger condition dropdown to add. You can then configure those trigger conditions using AND / OR logic based on the requirements. Click the Save button.
Next, click the "+" Plus icon to add an automation action. In the modal pop-up, select an action from the available options.
Example: Send Email to Contact.
Then, choose the required email template and you can preview the email template click the eye icon, then click Add button.
To add an end condition to this automation, click the "End Conditions" button to stop the automation trigger when the specified conditions are met. Learn more about end condition.
And here you can exclude the contacts based on the tags. Click the Exclude Contacts button. In the popup select the tag which you need to exclude for this automation. And click save to exclude from this automation. Learn more about exclude contacts.
And you need to must active the automation by clicking on the toggle icon from inactive to active.
After completing the setup, click Save Automation button to save the automation.
You can view all scheduled automation in the Scheduled Automation tab.
Action Icons
Action icons are used to perform the following actions:
Toggle the automation status to Inactive to active it, Then only the automation will trigger.
Click the Pie chart Icon to view the automation stats.
Select the Clone option to create a duplicate of the automation.
Use the pencil icon to modify or update the automation settings.
Click the trash icon to permanently delete the automation.
