How to Set Transaction Date Added in Automation Trigger?

This automation trigger runs when a selected transaction date field, such as Appraisal Ordered or Appraisal Received, is added or updated in a transaction. Once the specified date value is entered or modified, the automation will automatically activate based on the configured condition.

Steps to Set Up Transaction Date Added Automation:

  1. In the top navigation bar, select on Marketing.

  2. Under Marketing section , select Automation.

  3. To create a new automation, click the “New Automation” button in the upper-right corner. Once you click, a modal pop-up will appear. Enter a automation name and click the "+" icon to create a new folder or select a folder and click the "save" button.

  4. In the automation setup, click the Add Trigger button.

  5. Select Transaction date added trigger from automation trigger dropdown and select the value is Appraisal Received or Appraisal ordered.

  6. To add additional automation trigger conditions, click the "+" icon to include AND / OR conditions as needed. Once the conditions are configured, click Save.
    Note: If a transaction-based trigger is selected, you can include both Transaction-based or Contact-based trigger condition.

  7. Click the plus (+) icon to add an action. In the Automation Actions popup , select the action update contact led stage and choose the field New Lead, then click Add to configure the action.

  8. To add an end condition to this automation, click the "End Conditions" button to stop the automation trigger when the specified conditions are met. Learn more about end condition.

  9. And here you can exclude the contacts based on the tags. Click the Exclude Contacts button. In the popup select the tag which you need to exclude for this automation. And click save to exclude from this automation. Learn more about exclude contacts.

  10. Toggle the status from Inactive to Active and Click Save Automation to save your setup.

  11. The automation will be run based on the following condition:
    The automation trigger condition will be trigger when a transaction date, such as Appraisal Ordered or Appraisal Received, is added or updated from any transaction it will trigger.
