Sending newsletters and email updates helps maintain regular communication with your audience and potential clients, promoting brand awareness, driving engagement, and potentially increasing sales.
Here's how to Create an Email Template:
Step 1: Navigate to the Email Templates Page
From the Top Navigation Bar, click on Marketing, then select Email Templates on the marketing page.
Step 2: Create a New Email Template
To create a new email template, click the “New Template” button in the upper-right corner.
Once you click ,a modal pop-up will appear. Enter a email template name and click the "+" icon to create a new folder or select a folder and click the "save" button.
Step 3: Design Your Email Template
You will be redirected to where you can customize your email template. Before proceeding, ensure that enter the email template subject name.
Note: The email subject is a mandatory field. The template cannot be saved without a subject.
Here, You can drag and drop the options to start creating your template. The content blocks available on the right side of the editor can be dragged directly into the email canvas, allowing you to build professional emails.
Step 4: Organize Your Templates
Add a Folder - Click the Folder icon to create or assign a folder for your email template. Folders help group related templates, making them easier to manage.
Add Tags - Click the tag icon to add tags to categorize your email templates. Tags make it easy to find specific templates and filter them efficiently.
Active or Inactive a Template - You can activate or deactivate email templates by using Toggle.
Active – The template can be used in campaigns and automations.
Inactive – When an email template is set to Inactive, it is saved as a draft and unable to send email campaigns.
However, you can still use the Send Test Mail option to preview and test the template.
Save Your Email Template - Once you've completed your email template, click the "Save Template" button to save it.
Send Campaign - You can send your email template directly to a contact or a group by clicking the "Send" button. In the modal popup, fill in the required details, and then choose to either send the email immediately or schedule it for later. And click the "Save" button to send the campaign.
Send a Test Email - Click the Send Test Mail icon to send a preview of your email to a specified recipient.
Step 5: Email Template Actions
The email template following actions are:
Is Active - Use the Toggle to quickly activate or deactivate a template.
Created On - The Created On column displays the date and time when the email template was originally created.
Owner - In the "Owner" column, the system displays the name of the person who originally created the email template,
Each icon's usage as follows:
📈"Usage report" icon — It's used to preview the corresponding email template
configuration either in the number of automation (both regular or scheduled) or scheduled campaigns.
Note: The Usage Report icon is displayed only when the email template is currently configured in an Active Automation (Regular or Scheduled) or is being used in a Scheduled Campaign.
"Invite" icon – Used to send a test email.✈️ "Paper Plane" icon – Send campaign by using the email template.
👁️ "Eye" icon – Preview your email template.
✏️ "Pencil" icon – Edit your email template.
📄 "Paper" icon – Duplicate your email template.
🗑️ "Trash" icon – Delete your email template permanently.
Note: If an email template is currently configured in a Regular Automation or Scheduled Automation, it cannot be deleted. An error message will be displayed, indicating that the template is in use.
