Can I Include Attachments in Automated Emails?

Email campaigns and automations in Accountable currently support:

  • Text

  • Hyperlinks

  • Merge fields

Automated campaigns do NOT support attachments such as:

  • Preapproval letters

  • Disclosures

  • Appraisals

  • PDFs

  • Other borrower-specific documents

If you need to send attachments, please use the normal email tool within the Quick Add section.

Why?
Borrower documents are unique to each loan and frequently updated. Because of this, most mortgage CRMs separate:

  • Marketing automations
    from

  • Individual borrower document communication

Best Practice - Use automations for:

  • Follow-up campaigns

  • Loan Status updates (that do not requiring attachments)

  • Marketing emails

  • Reminders

Use the normal email tool for:

  • Preapproval letters

  • Disclosures

  • Appraisals

  • Other attachment-based communication

Important Reminder

Before sending any borrower documents, always verify that:

  • The correct file is attached

  • The document is the most recent version

  • The intended recipient is accurate

This helps maintain compliance, accuracy, and borrower experience throughout the loan process.
