How to Set Up and Manage Company-Level Interest Rates?

Updated this week

Configuring company-level interest rates ensures consistency, accuracy, and proactive opportunity tracking across your organization. This guide walks you through the steps to set up interest rates as a Super Admin or Company Admin and explains how the system leverages these settings to generate opportunities for Company Users.

Create Company-Level Interest Rates

  1. Login as a Company Admin. Navigate to Admin.

  2. And select Settings and choose Interest Rates tile.

  3. Select the values in all required fields.

  4. By default, the Alert Threshold is set to 2%. If Mortgage users need to change this, they can update the value accordingly.

  5. Click on the Save button to save the interest rate settings.

  6. Click on the Delete button to clear all values, except the default threshold value.

Alerts & Opportunities for Transactions

  1. Login as a Company User and navigate to Quick Action and select Transaction.

  2. In the modal popup Select a contact and fill in the transaction details with the following values:

    • Loan Purpose: Purchase

    • Loan Status: Funded (for at least 6 months)

    • Transaction Rate field > Interest Rate “Rate” field

    • Amortization Type: Fixed

    • Term in Months: 5

    • Type: USDA - RD

    • Rate: 20%

  3. After completing all transaction details, click on the Save button to save the transaction.

  4. The system will check if the difference between the Transaction Rate and the configured Interest Rate is greater than or equal to the Alert Threshold.

  5. If the threshold is met, an opportunity will be created and displayed on the new Opportunities Dashboard for the user on the Follow-up Page. The alert will also appear in the notifications to ensure visibility. Opportunities created today will be displayed under Today, while those created earlier will appear under the Past filter.

  6. To view all opportunity records, go to the Follow-up page, where you can see the entire list of opportunities under the Today and Past filters.

Note: If the company admin has not configured any interest rates, the system will not evaluate transaction records or insert entries into the OPPORTUNITIES table. Instead, the process will be skipped when no rates are available.
