Daily Habit #1: Start Your Day in Accountable
Every morning, start your day by reviewing what Accountable has lined up for you.
Step 1: Check Your Alerts
Click the alert (bell) icon in the top right corner
Alerts highlight:
Follow-ups due today
Past-due activities
Key opportunities or milestones
If there are no alerts yet, that’s okay—your activity will build quickly as you use the system.
Step 2: Open the Follow-Ups Tab
Navigate to Follow-Ups in the top menu to see your daily action list.
Inside Follow-Ups, you’ll see four views:
Today – what needs to be done now
Past Due – anything that still needs attention
Future – upcoming tasks
History – completed activity
✅ Mark Complete - Click the checkmark when the activity is done.
This:
Logs the activity
Moves it to History
Keeps your follow-up system clean and accurate
✏️ Edit
Click the pencil icon to:
Update notes
Change the follow-up type
Reschedule the due date
Adjust details after a call or meeting
Use this if a conversation changes direction or needs a new next step.
🗑 Delete
Click the trash icon if the follow-up is no longer needed.
Deleting removes the task entirely. Use this only if the follow-up is no longer relevant.
Why This Matters
Everything in Follow-Ups is driving future reminders, suggestions, and reporting.
If you work directly from this screen, you’ll never have to ask:
“Who was I supposed to follow up with?”
Accountable already knows.
Daily Habit #2: End Your Day by Recording Activity
Before you log off for the day, make sure everything you did is recorded.
What to Record
Calls made
Meetings held
Emails sent outside the system
Conversations that need future follow-up
If it happened, it should be logged.
How Accountable Helps You Stay Proactive
You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
Accountable will continuously provide:
Follow-up reminders
Prospecting suggestions
Consumer opportunities
Key milestones worth reaching out about
The more consistently you use Accountable each day, the smarter and more valuable it becomes.
