Effective communication management is essential for every organization, especially when dealing with a large volume of contacts. Accountable introduces a powerful update that gives Company Admins full oversight and control over their organization’s email communication preferences.
Why This Matters
This update supports better data accuracy, user accountability, and regulatory compliance. Company Admins can now:
Ensure no unauthorized messages are sent to unsubscribed contacts
Keep marketing and sales aligned on contact preferences
Maintain a trusted sender reputation across email platforms
Note: This feature is exclusively available for Company Admins in Accountable.
Step 1: Navigate to the Admin Panel
Step 2: Access the Unsubscribed Contacts List
On the Company page, click the Marketing tile.
In the Marketing section, click on Unsubscribed Contacts.
Under the Unsubscribed Contacts tab, you’ll see a complete list of Contacts belonging to company users who have opted out of receiving emails.
Note: These contacts will not receive any emails from campaigns or automations until they are resubscribed.
Step 3: Resubscribe a Contact
To resubscribe a contact, select the contact(s) from the Unsubscribed Contacts list.
Click the Trash Icon to remove the contact from the unsubscribe list.
Once removed, the contact will be moved to the Active Contacts tab.
Note: These contacts will now begin receiving emails from the company again.
Step 4: Unsubscribe a Contact Again (If Needed)
Go to the Active Contacts tab.
In the Active Contacts, Use the search bar at the top to quickly find the contact you wish to unsubscribe.
Select the contact from the list.
Click the Unsubscribe Icon to move the contact back to the Unsubscribed Contacts list.
