How Company Admins Can Manage Unsubscribes and Resubscribes in Accountable?

Effective communication management is essential for organizations handling large volumes of contacts. Accountable CRM provides company admins with complete control over email communication preferences by allowing them to manage unsubscribed contacts efficiently.

Why This Matters

This update supports better data accuracy, user accountability, and regulatory compliance. Company Admins can now:

  • Ensure no unauthorized messages are sent to unsubscribed contacts

  • Keep marketing and sales aligned on contact preferences

  • Maintain a trusted sender reputation across email platforms

Note: This feature is exclusively available for Company Admins in Accountable.

Step 1: Access the Unsubscribed Contacts List

  1. In the Top Navigation Bar, click on Admin.

  2. On the Company page, select Marketing.

  3. In the Marketing section, click Unsubscribed Contacts and you will be redirected to the Unsubscribed contacts page.
    Note: These contacts will not receive any emails from campaigns or automations until they are resubscribed.

Step 2 : Resubscribe a Contact

  1. To resubscribe a contact, select the contacts from the Unsubscribed Contacts list.

  2. Click the Trash Icon to remove the contact from the unsubscribe list.

  3. Once removed, the contact will be moved to the Active Contacts tab.
    Note: These contacts will now begin receiving emails from the company again.

Step 3: Unsubscribe a Contact Again (If Needed)

  1. Go to the Active Contacts tab.

  2. In Active Contacts, use the search bar to quickly find a contact by name or email, or search by company user.

  3. Select the contact from the list.

  4. Click the Unsubscribe icon to move the contact back to the Unsubscribed Contacts list.
