Custom Fields in Accountable CRM allow you to tailor contact details to fit your business needs. Whether you need to track personalized data such as loan preferences, referral sources, or key relationship details, Custom Fields provide the flexibility to store and manage critical client information efficiently.
Steps to Manage the Custom Groups and Fields:
Step 1 : Accessing Custom Fields
Log in to Accountable CRM and Click your Profile Image in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Select Custom Fields from the dropdown menu.
You will be redirected to the Custom Fields page, the default General Details custom fields will displayed. It can not be edit or delete the default group.
Step 2 : Creating a Custom Field Group
From the Custom Fields page, you can create groups to add custom fields to. These groups will show up on each of your contact detail pages as separate detail sections.
Click on the "+ Add Group" button to create a new group.
A modal will appear where you can enter the group name. Once you've entered , click "Save" button to add the group to the list.
Step 3 : Creating Custom Fields
From the Custom Fields page, you can create custom fields that can be added to groups. These custom fields will show up on each of your contact detail pages for you to add information to.
To create a custom field, click on the "+ Add Field" button.
A modal popup will appear where you can enter the custom field name, field type select any group in the dropdown. Once you've entered the information, click "Save" button to add the custom field to the list.
When selecting Dropdown as the Field Type, you must add at least two dropdown options before the custom field can be saved.
You can easily reorganize your custom fields by using the drag-and-drop feature. Easily drag a field from one group and drop it into another group as needed.
Step 4 : Viewing and Managing Custom Fields
Contact Records
Custom fields are displayed on the individual contact details page, where users can enter or update information based on the selected field type.
Bulk Contact Import
Custom fields are also available during the Import Contacts process, allowing you to import custom data for multiple contacts at once.
Contact List Advanced Filtering
Custom fields can be used as filter criteria in the Advanced Filter section of the Contacts List page, helping you quickly filter contacts based on specific information.
Step 5 : Edit or Delete Custom Groups and Fields
To edit a custom field later, click the "pencil" icon next to the custom group and field. And click the "trash" icon to delete the custom group and field.
Note: When deleting a custom field, a confirmation message will display the number of contacts associated with that field. Confirm the deletion only if you wish to permanently remove the field and its da
