How to Impersonate Users by Company Admin?

The Impersonate Users feature in AccountableCRM allows company admins to securely access a user’s account and experience the platform exactly as they do. This helps admins monitor user activity, review performance, and quickly identify or resolve any issues.

While impersonating, admins gain full visibility into the user’s dashboard, workflows, and data. This makes it easier to guide users, correct configurations, and ensure everything is functioning as expected — all without disrupting the user’s work.

Steps to Impersonate Users:

  1. In the top navigation bar, click on the “Admin” tab.

  2. On the Company Dashboard page, select “Users.”

  3. You will see a list of all company users. Locate the user you want to access and click on the “Impersonate” icon next to their name.

  4. Once impersonation begins, you will be logged in as that user.

    • You can view their dashboard, pipelines, tasks, and records

    • Monitor their activities and workflows in real time

    • Identify and troubleshoot issues they may be facing

    • Create, edit, or update records as needed to assist or correct configurations

    • Ensure permissions, visibility, and data are set up correctly

  5. After completing your review or updates, click on “Stop Session" in the top.
    This will end the impersonation and return you to your user list as the admin.
